Chief Operations Officer 

Mike Greenwood is the Chief Operations Officer for Access Services.  As a former Board Member and Consultant, he has been on staff with Access Services since 2014 and oversees Operations, Safety, Fleet and Emergency Management.  In his current role, Mr. Greenwood is responsible for administering the major service contracts which include transportation services for the six designated regions of Los Angeles County.  He and his team respond to day to day issues and challenges as well as provide general guidance to contractors regarding the desired goals, objectives and direction of Access.  They monitor contract compliance and achievement of contractual goals and performance measures.

Prior to joining Access, he was a Deputy Executive Officer/Transportation Operations Manager with LA Metro where he managed contract operations including three bus divisions, freeway service patrol contracts, call box operation contracts and consultant contracts in support of regional 511 implementation.  He was also a Service Development Manager (Section Manager III) with OCTA where he worked in various management and leadership capacities including bus operations, service planning, service scheduling, taxicab regulation and special projects.

Mr. Greenwood earned his MBA from Cal State Long Beach and Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology with Specialization in Environmental Planning from UC Irvine.  He is a graduate of the Leadership APTA Program, American Public Transportation Association as well as the Center for Transit Leadership Executive Development Program, Eno Foundation.
