Access does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the quality or availability of any transportation provider. Each participating agency should be contacted to verify the correct information.

Resident (Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill or Paramount) 18 years of age or older, and an active Access member (Eligibility for Dial-a-Lift is determined on a case-by-case basis)
(Application, Signed physicians' statement, and a copy of the approval letter from Access.)

Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit card on board DAL vehicles.
Funds can also be loaded on the DAL identification swipe card.
Members can make reservations for transportation by contacting Global Paratransit seven days a week between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Subsidy Program

Fiesta Taxi and GO GO Grandparent: Residents 55 and older or Disabled. Provide in-town trips as well as out of town medical trips (5 miles outside) for eligible users.
Fare $1.00 one way, Apply in person at Paramount Community Center.

The program provides educational workshops, events, tours, and travel training geared to older adults, all with the goal of empowering individuals with the knowledge and practice needed to safely and independently access the bus and rail system in LA County.
